Gorilla Wood Glue 236 ml – High-performance adhesive for wood stringers on foam blanks (surfboards)

Specific use:
Designed to bond the wooden stringer to a PU or EPS foam blank on a surfboard.
Ideal for (re)attaching a stringer that has partially come loose due to shaping or a manufacturing defect, or for custom projects where a customer wants to glue their own stringer.

Usage tips for surfboard applications:

1. Thoroughly clean and dry the bonding area (wood and foam).
2. Apply a generous layer. If foam is present in the joint, lightly dampen the wood to activate bonding.
3. Clamp for 20–30 minutes using a clamp or angled reinforced tape.
4. Sand after 24 h to obtain a smooth surface.

 

Even though this glue is mainly used in woodworking, it proves to be practical and reliable for specific surfboard applications, such as bonding wood stringers to PU or EPS foam blanks.
