FUTURES FINS — VECTOR 3/2 & REVERSE 3/2
WHAT IS A VECTOR FOIL?
It is an exclusive Futures foil featuring a concave surface on the inside face of the front fins, which increases active surface area, hold, and lift.
WHAT IS THE 3/2 TEMPLATE?
The 3/2 template builds on the Vector by adding 3 degrees of cant (side tilt) and 2 degrees of toe (inward angle). This introduces a twist into the foil to optimize flow angles during tight turns, creating lift and improved hold throughout the maneuver.
VECTOR 3/2 PERFORMANCE BENEFITS
The Vector 3/2 is a fin designed to generate speed; it maximizes water engagement across multiple surfaces, providing lift and reducing drag. The concave surface and twist in the upper half provide a unique feel of hold and projection, allowing for smooth speed generation in small waves as well as a powerful connection and increased speed in larger waves, resulting in faster, higher-performance turns.
BENEFITS OF THE "SCIMITAR" TIP
Originally developed in 2006, the "Scimitar" tip features a flat section at the trailing edge of the fin, which allows for a tighter arc by reducing the profile length.
