The 3M 4255 respirator can provide protection against a range of organic vapours boiling above 65°C (with good warning properties, i.e. taste or smell) in concentrations up to 10 times the Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) or 5,000ppm, whichever is lower.

 

In addition, this respirator can protect against fine dust, with mean particle size down to 0.5 micron, in concentrations up to 20 times OEL.

 

The 3M 4255 respirator meets the requirements of the HSE approved standard EN405 FFA2P3.

 

 

 

Please note this respirator has a limited service life. It should therefore be replaced immediately upon first sign of 'breakthrough' (i.e. when contaminates can be detected by taste or smell inside the respirator).
