PB 170 foaming epoxy is a two-component system with a density of 170 kg/m3 allowing the foaming of volumes and hollow bodies with a view to inerting them and reinforcing them.

Its closed cell structure gives it excellent resistance to immersion.

During its expansion, this system exerts low pressure allowing the use of precarious formwork.

A temperature of 18°C ​​minimum is imperative in order to guarantee proper expansion (Expansion coefficient of 6.2 from 20°C).


The mixes evolve in two stages:
    Rapid expansion of the casting, speed independent of the hardener.
    Slow hardening of the mass

Great expanding epoxi foam

Fast gardening and easy mixing vs polyester foam. Also works in a vacuum bag as it doesn’t need air as poly.
