The EP 217, while blended with your hot-coat resin, gives a lower viscosity of your resin.


This will allow an smoother application of the material and a much easier sanding.


 


You should use the EP 217 like you would do with paraffined styrene added with a polyester resin mix + traditionally used catalyst, using 4% of your total resin volume.


 


The EP 217's main objectives : easing the application of the resin, easing the sanding, sparing your sanding equipment...in other words, making your work easier.

Works excellent as written. I am using this for seal/gloss coats. Really nice self leveling of the epoxy mix and easy sanding with not as much clogging as with other epoxies I tried..
